CAAAV Organizing Asian Communities

"Organizing Asian Communities (also known as Committee Against Anti-Asian Violence) was founded by Asian women in 1986 as one of the first organizations in the United States to mobilize Asian communities to counter anti-Asian violence. CAAAV focuses on institutional violence that affects immigrant, poor and working-class communities such as worker exploitation, concentrated urban poverty, police brutality, Immigration Naturalization Service detention and deportation, and criminalization of youth and workers."

End Violence Against Women International

EVAW works to improve the response of the criminal justice system and community professionals to violence against women. They provide education, training, and research, and promote multidisciplinary collaboration which enables responding professionals to better support victims and hold offenders accountable.

EVAW International On-Line Training Institute

The institute provides opportunities for interested professionals to expand their knowledge of cutting edge developments in the criminal justice and community response to sexual assault, with particular emphasis on those crimes committed by someone who is known to the victim. Participants can work through training modules to learn and review new information and then apply this newly acquired knowledge in realistic and interactive scenarios, as well as assessment methods such as quizzes, tests, and case studies.
