The Center for Research on Women with Disabilities (CROWD) is located at Baylor College of Medicine whose mission is to promote, develop, and disseminate information to improve the health and expand the life choices of women with disabilities. Research is conducted on various topics including violence against women with disabilities.

WID creates innovative programs and tools; conducts research, public education, training and advocacy campaigns; and provides technical assistance. "
