National Stalking Awareness Month Event Broadcast

On Tuesday, January 18th, the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), hosted an event commemorating National Stalking Awareness Month. The event featured distinguished speakers, including Attorney General Eric Holder and Associate Attorney General Tom Perrelli, as well as Hannah Perryman, a 17 year old who was stalked for five years, and in 2009 reached out to Illinois lawmakers to strengthen state stalking laws.
