Trauma Symptom Checklist for Children

Description: This measurement tool was published in 1996, after several years of research. It is a self-reporting tool geared toward children ages 8 to 16. There are fifty items, with several sub-scales including anxiety, depression, anger, PTSD, dissociation, and sexual concerns. The TSCC was designed to address traumatic events in general, meaning that it does not specifically address domestic violence. Nonetheless this checklist can be to gauge the impact domestic violence may have on a child.
